Dukie is a Golden Retriever who is hoping to find a forever home.
He is in a Los Angeles County Animal Shelter.
When I visited him he generously offered to share with me
his favorite possession- a very used tennis ball.
We played catch and he returned the ball each time and eagerly
stood- as I painted him- waiting for the ball to be thrown.
He is a senior but is agile and full of fun.

UPDATE:
Dukie- now known as DUKE has found a loving forever home!
His painting has been purchased and will be a gift to his new companion.
